DIRT CAKE RECIPE Here's a traditional Dirt Cake recipe. This cake is very popular at kids' parties.
INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds of Oreo cookies 1 stick butter or margarine 4 packages instant chocolate pudding (made according to directions on packet) 12 ounces fresh whipped cream (or 1 squirt can of redi-whip if you don't feel like working too hard) 12 Gummy worms

DIRECTIONS:
Clean a new plastic rectangular flower pot and a small plastic shovel.
Crush the cookies in a ziplock bag with a rolling pin.
Mix crumbs with melted butter or margarine. Put a 2-inch layer of the mixture on the bottom of the flower pot.
Combine the pudding and whipped topping, then spread it over the cookie crumb layer.
Adorn the pudding with Gummy Worms.
Spread the remaining crumbs on top.
Refrigerate overnight.
Wrap the stems of some artificial flowers with foil and arrange in the pot, then serve the cake using the shovel.
