Calorielab.com recently released its "Fattest States in the Country" list, complied using data from the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. The results are based on a three-year statistical average.
Below is a list of states, ranked (highest to lowest) in order of the percentage of each state's population classified as either overweight or obese.
NOTE: Hawaii's data was not based on a three-year average, but only measured in 2006.
