If you bisect an imaginary earth into northern and southern halves (at the equator), the USA is located in the northern hemisphere, which contains almost 90% of the earth's population. The northern hemisphere consists of Asia, Europe, North America, Central America, a small part of South America, and about two thirds of Africa. On the other hand, if the earth is sectioned into east and west (divided at the prime meridian), then America is located in the western hemisphere. The western hemisphere generally refers to the Americas, including associated islands like the West Indies and Greenland. This page contains two world maps. To print either one, Just right click on any image, select SAVE from your drop-down menu, and save the image to your picture file for future use. To print a sample, you can right click on an image, select "View Image," then select PRINT from your file menu. When you're ready to print the map, you might want to select PAGE SETUP from your FILE menu first, in case you need to reduce the margins, enlarge the image, or select "landscape" for the paper orientation setting. Here's a cost-effective rule of thumb: Test your result on ordinary printer paper BEFORE printing the card on your favorite stationery paper.
