LIST OF WAGES AND HOW TO MAKE A FREE PRINTABLE RESUME

Scroll down to see wages listed by state. To make a free printable resume, follow the instructions on the resume template located below the list.

Most of this wage info was collected from the U.S. Department of Labor. The list shows each state's minimum wage for 2009 and 2012.

Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee have no minimum wage law.

Roughly 2.4 million US residents over the age of fifteen have an average income of about $900,000 per year. The rest of us - almost 238 million adult residents - have an average income of about $26,000 per year.

The Federal Minimum Wage is $7.25 per hour. As of January 1st 2012, all states must offer this amount (or more) for minimum wage. If a state's minimum wage law states a lower amount, the Federal Minimum Wage is automatically applied.
