Pictured below is a map of New Jersey. New Jersey is a state in the northeastern U.S.A., bordered by New York (to the north and east), the Atlantic Ocean (to the east), Delaware (south and west), and Pennsylvania (west). The Delaware River defines most of New Jersey's western border.
New Jersey's location has made the state an important commercial hub and an ideal area for manufacturing. In spite of all this, almost half of the state's land remains wooded.
New Jersey has 21 counties. The state's major rivers include the Manasquan, Maurice, Mullica, Passaic, Hackensack, Rahway, Rancocas, Raritan, Musconetcong, Toms, and Delaware. Needless to say, this charming little state is prone to frequent flooding.
