Thomas McKnight (1941 - ...) is a renowned American artist, originally from Lawrence, Kansas. His work is represented in the permanent collections of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Smithsonian Institution. He was also commissioned by the White House to paint an image for President Clinton’s official Christmas card.


Tim Gagnon is a contemporary artist born in northern Maine. His work is inspired by explorations of mood and the human mind.


Donald Curran is a professional artist with a successful career as an illustrator. His strongest influences are the American Impressionists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.  


Maxfield Parrish (1870-1966) was a painter and illustrator from Philadelphia. He is considered on of the great American Masters.

Parrish is famous for his idyllic, dreamy landscape scenes saturated in color. Some of his best known works were inspired by the landscaping at the Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California. 



Henry Martin Gasser (1909-1981) was an American painter from New Jersey. His style depicts everyday subjects in watercolors and oil. His works are currently in high demand.



Howard Newman is a versatile professional artist whose works include paintings, prints, sculptures and antique restorations. According to the New York Times, "Newman's drawings are virtuoso. In them, geometric solids are elaborated into humanoid sculptural forms that, with collage bits and fragments of writing, create fantastical meditations on anatomical structure."


George Jensen (1878-1977) was an artist from Ohio who painted scenes of local landscapes. His use of colors and shadow captured the genuine feel of outdoor lighting.



Adam Maeroff is an Ohio artist who specializes in painting and papier mache. His style, sometimes called "Magic Realism," is largely inspired by his personal experience.



William Trost Richards (1833-1905) was an important American landscape artist associated with the Hudson River School. His style was devoted to photographic realism.



Aldro Thompson Hibbard (1886-1972) was a prominent American painter from Massachusetts. His works are done primarily in the Plein-air style. His original paintings fetch a lot of money in today's art market.
